SAP Finance Consultant
About The Position
Accenture Federal Services is hiring a Junior SAP Finance Functional Consultant to support U.S. federal government missions. The role calls for experience in one or more SAP Finance domains, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Funds Management. Public Sector Financials experience is relevant. In Funds Management, the consultant should be able to configure and manage detailed budgets across funds, funds centers, and commitment items. The consultant will gather business requirements, design functional solutions, coordinate with technical and business teams, and support SAP module maintenance, enhancements, development, integrations, and testing. The role requires U.S. citizenship, eligibility to obtain a government clearance, and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of SAP Finance experience.
- U.S. citizenship; dual citizenship is not permitted.
- Must be eligible to obtain a government clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Experience in one or more of these SAP Finance domains: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, or Funds Management.
- Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials.
- For Funds Management work, ability to track and control budgets organized by fund, funds center, and commitment item, and configuration experience creating budgets at each level of this structure.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to gather requirements and design solutions that meet them.
- Work with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet functional requirements.
- Perform business process design and system analysis.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, technical services teams (including BASIS, Middleware, and Portal), and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities.
- Maintain, enhance, and/or develop SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications.
- Write and execute test plans.
