About The Position

Accenture is seeking an SAP Finance Associate Director to originate, sell, and deliver SAP-based Finance Transformation projects. The role advises clients on business challenges and the value of current and future SAP solutions, defines SAP journeys through business cases and roadmaps, and architects end-to-end Finance solutions using SAP technologies, custom applications, and partner solutions. The Associate Director leads large SAP transformation programs and delivery teams, advises on Finance solutions informed by industry and technology practices, and helps clients achieve transformational outcomes. The role also involves explaining SAP Business AI strategy and identifying valuable AI use cases, applying AI to improve SAP delivery efficiency, advising clients and Accenture leadership on trends and regulations, and developing thought leadership, assets, best practices, and future transformation experts. Travel may range from 0% to 100%, depending on business and client needs.

Requirements

At least 12 years of proven experience as a Delivery Lead accountable for day-to-day delivery of large SAP Finance transformation programs, including client roadmap and business-case advice, program setup and mobilization, execution, and successful business outcomes.
At least 6 years of experience leading SAP transformation programs supporting multiple industries and clients; SAP support or managed-services experience does not count toward this requirement.
At least 4 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation, and solution architecture for SAP Finance and industry-based clients.
Experience managing large SAP delivery teams of 50–100 people, including in a Global Delivery model.
Prior experience in a Consulting or Advisory role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 12 years of work experience; alternatively, an Associate’s degree with at least 6 years of equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Engage with senior client Finance executives about business challenges, trends, and the potential value of current and future SAP solutions.
Lead clients in defining their SAP journey by developing business cases and roadmaps, including through sales origination, proposal development, and client presentations.
Architect end-to-end Finance solutions using SAP technologies, custom applications, and partner solutions.
Explain SAP Business AI strategy, capabilities, and roadmap, and identify Finance areas where AI can deliver value.
Deploy AI use cases within SAP delivery to improve efficiency and explain how AI-driven improvements can enhance project delivery.
Advise, design, and deliver Finance solutions using current industry and technology best practices and SAP solutions and embedded innovation.
Lead large project teams of varying sizes and scopes to achieve transformational roadmaps, onsite with clients or within Accenture.
Stay current on regulations, trends, and innovations and serve as an expert and advisor to clients, teams, and Accenture leadership.
Build thought leadership, assets, and best practices, and develop the next generation of transformation experts.
