About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion dollar business and we are looking for a Sr SAP FICO Product Manager to work in a start-up environment. As the FI & CO expert, possess both the functional & technical background and that enables them to work with technology and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about Amazon Leo initiatives. They will experience a wide range of problem-solving situations requiring an understanding of business process and SAP configuration expertise. And able to design solutions, enhance and production support. Work closely with other SAP functional while designing and/or enhancement and support of these systems which is critical for scalability and cost-effective manufacturing of satellites and ground gateway terminals. To be successful you need to be highly motivated, detail oriented and effective communicator.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 5+ years of experience as SAP FI specialist
• 3+ years experience in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP Finance
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI modules (Finance, Controlling, Asset management).
• 6+ years of SAP experience with Delivery of an end-to-end design and implementation as the main focus
• Strong understanding of financial and Accounting business processed and requirements.
• Strong understanding of core financial processes: General Ledger (GL), Project System, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Month-end and year-end close process
• Knowledge of integration points between FI and other SAP modules such as MM and PP
• Ability to analyze financial data, perform reconciliation and troubleshoot transactional issues
• Experience working with cross-functional team including Finance and Supply Chain
• Strong problem solving and communication detail

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
• Experience with integrations with SAP Procurement, Manufacturing and Inventory Management
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA with RISE
• Comprehensive understanding of custom development approach and integration strategy from both a technical and functional perspective
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment
• Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., SAP Fiori embedded analytics or BI tools)

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects related to SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) module from design to deployment including integration with Amazon Corporate systems.
• Build deployment project plans and manage risks impacting successful delivery.
• Develop use cases by gathering business requirements, work with software development to build required features, clearly communicate dependencies and manage/track exceptions.
• Participate and build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to ensure proposed solution can meet business requirements using SAP S/4.
• Active participation in Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and User Training.
• Apply strong knowledge of the business processes for designing, developing, and testing SAP S/4 HANA ERP functionality, which includes expertise in general ledger, accounts payable, project system, cost center accounting, product center accounting and profit center accounting.
• Configure SAP S/4 HANA FICO to meet business requirements, including connection points with PP, MM, PS, & SD and other modules and implementation of SAP best practices.
• Have an ability to navigate through a large amount of ambiguity and drive consensus between cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Gather requirement from Finance, Accounting & Tax teams and Collaborate with other functional teams for HLD design and configure SAP to business requirement with validate & user trainings.
