About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network, with a mission to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities worldwide. The SAP Technical Program Manager is a crucial member of the Governance team, which encompasses basis, security, compliance, automation and performance testing, data governance, change, and release management. This role involves overseeing complex SAP initiatives, requiring coordination with engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions. Key responsibilities include leading major initiatives such as support pack application/testing, SAP Application upgrades, HANA Database upgrades, and migration to NS2 RISE. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating inter-team efforts to ensure SIT and UAT testing are performed, Quality Gate Checks are enforced, and Release Management reviews/sign-offs are completed. Furthermore, this role involves close collaboration with the basis team to ensure disaster recovery procedures are executed, system refreshes are completed, and monthly maintenance windows are coordinated. While the primary focus is on basis requirements, the position will involve touchpoints with all teams operating under the governance model.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years in basis or database management.
• 10+ Years of SAP experience.
• 5+years technical architecture

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
• Worked on large scale S4HANA systems.
• Experience with NS2 RISE or Infrastructure as a Service

Responsibilities
