About The Position

The SAP FICO Consultant will design, configure, and implement SAP FICO solutions based on client needs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, assessing gaps between standard SAP functionality and client requirements, and proposing viable solutions. The consultant will configure and customize SAP FICO modules, conduct testing, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain existing configurations as business needs change. The position also includes preparing training materials, technical documentation, and user manuals, and staying current on SAP FICO developments to suggest improvements. The base work location is 305 Stanley Boulevard, Shelbyville, Tennessee, 37160. The job posting lists Nashville, Tennessee as the location and indicates onsite work. Candidates outside the vicinity must accept travel; travel may also be required as projects demand.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementations.
Deep knowledge of SAP FICO functionalities and their integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP).
Strong experience in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex issues.
Good understanding of financial and management accounting principles.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Willingness to travel as required by projects.
Auto and Auto parts Industry experience.
Candidates who are not in the vicinity of the base work location must accept travel.

Nice To Haves

SAP certification in Cost Controlling.
Chinese language knowledge or experience working with a China team.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions according to client needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Perform gap analysis between standard SAP functionality and client requirements and propose viable solutions.
Configure and customize SAP FICO modules, including cost centers, internal orders, profit center accounting, activity and overhead cost allocation, and product costing.
Develop and execute test scripts, perform unit testing, and coordinate system integration tests.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO operations.
Prepare and deliver training materials for end-users.
Maintain and update existing SAP FICO configurations as per changing business needs.
Stay updated on the latest SAP FICO developments and suggest improvements.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and user manuals.
