SAP Data Migration Consultant - 100% onsite in St. Louis, MO
About The Position
Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to lead and execute end-to-end data migration activities for an SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The consultant will use SAP and non-SAP migration tools, ETL platforms, and data-governance practices to help ensure data loads are clean, accurate, and validated. The role partners with functional, technical, and business teams and requires the employee to work onsite in St. Louis, Missouri; candidates must live locally or be willing to travel there every week. The role supports migration across multiple SAP functional areas and the full migration lifecycle, including strategy, mapping, cleansing, transformation, loading, validation, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain at least a Secret clearance. Four years of SAP experience and experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations are required.
Requirements
- Four years of SAP experience.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, including greenfield, brownfield, or hybrid implementations.
- ETL experience using tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP Migration Cockpit (Fiori-based), LSMW, BAPI, IDocs, or staging-based loads.
- Experience with data quality, profiling, validation, and cleansing.
- Experience with SAP master data and transactional data structures across multiple domains.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Eligibility to obtain a minimum of a Secret clearance.
- Must live locally to St. Louis, Missouri, or be willing to travel to St. Louis every week.
- U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP SLT, Information Steward, Eclipse, or MDG.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA data-model changes and future-state design.
- Experience supporting integrations with PI/PO, CPI, BTP, or third-party ETL platforms.
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or procurement processes.
- Experience leading offshore/onshore teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead data migration workstreams across SAP functional areas such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, P2P, and OTC.
- Develop and manage migration strategy, data-model mapping, transformation rules, validation logic, and load sequencing.
- Execute data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading using SAP and non-SAP tools.
- Evaluate legacy data quality and implement cleansing, profiling, and enrichment procedures.
- Coordinate with functional consultants to define field mapping, dependencies, and transformation logic.
- Build and maintain migration templates, staging tables, load files, and documentation.
- Execute mock loads, dry runs, and cutover activities, including issue resolution and reconciliation.
- Work with technical teams on IDoc-, BAPI-, API-, and interface-based migration scenarios.
- Perform root-cause analysis for load failures and drive resolution with business and technical teams.
- Partner with Data Governance teams to define data standards, validation rules, and master-data structures.
- Support SIT and UAT testing cycles with test-data preparation, defect analysis, and remediation.
- Provide go-live and post-go-live hypercare support for migrated data.
