About The Position
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. As a Software Developer Intern on the Concur Platform Engineering team in Vancouver, Canada, you will be taking on Concur App Center to the next level: scaling the architecture while building new, elastically scalable microservices. You will have an opportunity to work across the full stack — from UI clients, server applications and data stores to delivery pipelines and infrastructure. Requirements

- Computer Science or related field of study.
- Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
- Enjoys digging into hard problems and isn't afraid to ask questions.
- Thrives in an environment where you can take ownership, learn quickly, and contribute to a platform used by millions of people.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the idea of working across the full stack — from infrastructure to user-facing features.

Responsibilities
- Build web apps and cloud services in a microservice architecture
- Understand, debug, and make meaningful improvements to code used by real customers
- Scale and improve software systems that span multiple teams
- Own services end-to-end: developing code, writing test automation, managing DevOps, and resolving production problems
- Use AI coding tools as part of your everyday development workflow — writing, reviewing, and improving code collaboratively with AI assistance
- Problem solve alongside a team of experienced engineers
- Grow your technical, architectural, and communication skills through hands-on project work
