About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an SAP Business Implementation Senior Manager to join our Supply Chain Fulfillment Integration (Fabrication) team in Auburn, Washington. The Senior Manager will lead a team supporting BCA Fabrication SAP development and execution, working across the impacted Fabrication business units along with the direct core team. This role requires strong partnership with the Fabrication leadership team, Fabrication business unit leaders, and BCA stakeholders. A successful candidate will lead a team of subject matter experts responsible to requirements gathering, decisions enabling business system transformation, and detailed implementation planning. This leader is critical for ensuring the Fabrication stakeholders are brought along through the SAP journey, with robust planning for implementation. Our team is currently hiring a Level M SAP Business Implementation Senior Manager.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement
  • 5+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and partnerships across functions
  • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Manages employees and mid-level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and small business subcontracting.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
