About The Position

An SAP Business Analyst Level II is responsible for supporting the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of solutions within their functional area of expertise (Finance, Sales, Merchandising, RFS, Customer Service & Returns Management). A Level II executes assigned project tasks within established timelines and works closely with senior analysts, managers, and business stakeholders to support business processes and system enhancements. The Level II assists in identifying and resolving system issues, gathering business requirements, and supporting user adoption of new functionality. They work with the SAP Manager and Business Process Owners to help ensure systems meet business requirements and support operational objectives.

Requirements

  • SAP configuration, support, or business systems experience, 1-3 years.
  • Passion and drive for learning and continuous improvement.

  • General understanding of business processes; preferred 1+ years of ScanSource experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the current ("as-is") business processes and supporting systems.
  • Maintain proficiency in the configuration, processing, and support of assigned SAP functional modules.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements and mapping them to SAP functionality.
  • Participate in system design discussions and configuration planning meetings.
  • Help identify opportunities for business process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Support adoption of new processes and functionality through training and user support.
  • Assist users in adapting processes and procedures to align with system capabilities.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues with guidance from senior team members when needed.
  • Provide status updates on assigned tasks and projects.
  • Support project deliverables and coordinate activities with team members and business partners.
  • Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate business requirements.
  • Support ongoing enhancements and modifications to systems from a business perspective.
  • Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders regarding system functionality, processes, and changes.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in assigned SAP business processes and applications.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.
