About The Position

Founded in 2007, DTI (Diversified Technology, Inc.) is a successful African American owned IT Consulting/Staffing firm based in Chicago's Loop. We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations including, but not limited to, CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state/local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners. We are seeking an expert-level SAP Basis Consultant to support system landscape setup, upgrades, and ongoing Basis administration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in complex SAP environments, including repack, retrofits, and new system landscape implementations, preferably within secure or government-regulated environments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration
• Strong expertise in system landscape setup, repack, and retrofit processes
• Experience with SAP system upgrades, migrations, and installations
• Knowledge of transport management and system refresh strategies
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• U.S. Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NS2 (SAP National Security Services) environments
• Exposure to on-premise and cloud-hosted SAP landscapes
• Background in Aerospace & Defense industry
• Familiarity with government or compliance-driven projects

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP Basis administration across complex system landscapes
• Lead and support system installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Execute repack and retrofit activities across SAP environments
• Set up and manage new SAP system landscapes
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve Basis-related issues and incidents
• Support transport management and system refresh activities
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams for integration and deployment
• Maintain documentation for system configurations and processes
