SAP Basis Architect – 100% travel to St. Louis, MO
About The Position
The Senior SAP Basis Administrator develops, tests, implements, and maintains operating systems and related software. The role establishes and implements standards for computer operations to ensure hardware and software compatibility with defined specifications and parameters. It also leads troubleshooting efforts and supports system reliability across the environment. The position includes leading a team, mentoring and training junior members, and supporting budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning. The role requires SAP Basis experience, SAP High Availability architecture experience, and administration in a classified environment. The position is based on weekly travel to St. Louis, Missouri, or for candidates who live locally there.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of SAP Basis experience.
- Experience architecting SAP High Availability.
- Experience administering SAP Basis in a classified environment.
- Relevant SAP certifications.
- Must be a US citizen and not hold dual citizenship.
- Must be eligible to obtain at least a Secret Clearance.
- Must live locally to St. Louis, Missouri, or be willing to travel there weekly.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system, and networking issues.
- Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups and conduct data recoveries when necessary.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for program applications.
- Support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning activities.
- Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior members.
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain operating systems and related software.
- Establish and implement computer operations standards to ensure hardware and software compatibility with defined specifications and parameters.
- Support system reliability across the environment.
