About The Position

The SAP Ariba Administrator provides functional system support within the Procurement organization. This is not an IT-focused role: the position supports procurement users with navigation, guidance, troubleshooting, workflow management, system administration, and configuration. The team investigates and resolves Ariba-related tickets and requests, supports new supplier creation, and assists with Supplier Risk processes. The current ticketing system is BMC Remedy, with a transition to ServiceNow underway; training will be provided to candidates without ServiceNow experience. Key areas include Ariba user support, supplier onboarding, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Supplier Risk, and Contract Management. The role calls for strong SAP Ariba skills, comfort with administration and workflow management, and customer-facing experience supporting business users and suppliers. The position is a 12-month contract, with an immediate start preferred. It is listed in Oakland, California, with remote flexibility. Local candidates are preferred; occasional in-person meetings may occur but are expected to be infrequent.
