SAP Application Developer
About The Position
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP Application Developer to design, develop, and support custom enhancements, integrations, and reports within large enterprise SAP landscapes. The role covers the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, hands-on coding, unit testing, performance tuning, and post-go-live support. The developer will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders. The position is 100% remote in the U.S., full-time, direct W2, with an annual salary range of $100,000–$150,000. The employer is unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions, but encourages applications from U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.
Requirements
- Five or more years of professional ABAP development experience, including significant experience with S/4HANA.
- Strong hands-on expertise with ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, and HANA-optimized ABAP.
- Experience building OData services and integrating them with Fiori applications.
- Hands-on experience with enhancement frameworks, including BADIs, user exits, and implicit/explicit enhancements.
- Experience with integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web Services.
- Understanding of SAP module data structures, including FI/CO, SD, MM, or PP, depending on the project area.
- Experience with performance tuning tools such as SAT and ST05, and HANA diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, and SAP transport management.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with S/4HANA system conversions or greenfield implementations.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, ABAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), or steampunk.
- Hands-on experience with Fiori/UI5 development.
- Familiarity with SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
- SAP-certified ABAP developer credentials.
