Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or a related discipline from a recognized program plus four (4) to seven (7) years’ experience.
Strong knowledge in accounting processes and practices.
Understanding of financial processes (Billing, Collections, Dunning (BRF an asset), General Ledger, Payments and EDI processing, Batch Job Handling).
Incredible analytical skills and a great knack for project management.
Experience in supporting SAP System FICO and/or FICA.
Experience configuring SAP Systems GL/AP/AR/AA.

Nice To Haves

A professional accounting designation CPA or equivalent training is preferred.
S/4 HANA knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

Support the Finance Department in day-to-day tasks and month-end closing.
Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements.
Implement and configure SAP solutions to streamline processes and system enhancements.
Gain a strong understanding of our financial processes while looking for ways to improve them.
Support ongoing and upcoming projects including the upcoming S/4 HANA conversion.
Lead functional and technical activities for SAP related projects.
Engage in general ERP updates and improvements.
Discuss agreements with software vendors and guide external contractors.
