About The Position

Our client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Analyst (PP/QM) to support a multi-year SAP transformation roadmap focused on modernizing the company's manufacturing ERP landscape and expanding SAP capabilities across global operations. This role will be a key contributor to a large-scale SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration while supporting existing SAP environments and future implementation projects across manufacturing plants worldwide. The successful candidate will serve as a hands-on SAP functional expert specializing in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM), while partnering closely with business leaders, engineering, development, security, and manufacturing teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven SAP professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, influencing decisions through expertise, and working in a highly collaborative, flat organizational structure.

Requirements

  • SAP Production Planning (PP) expertise including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand Planning, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution, Batch Management, Serialization, In-House Manufacturing, and Subcontracting Processes.
  • SAP Quality Management (QM) expertise including QM Master Data, Quality Planning, Inspection Planning and Execution, Quality Notifications, Certificates Management, Supplier Quality Management, Batch Management, and Quality Compliance Processes.
  • Strong knowledge of upstream and downstream SAP integrations, including Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Procurement and Supply Chain processes, external manufacturing and quality systems, and middleware and third-party integrations.
  • Experience integrating SAP with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including production execution and shop floor integrations, work order synchronization and production reporting, real-time manufacturing data collection, manufacturing process orchestration between SAP and operational systems, and troubleshooting SAP-to-MES interfaces.
  • Experience integrating SAP with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms, including Engineering Change Management (ECM), BOM synchronization and governance, Product Master Data Management, New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and quality organizations, and managing product data throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an SAP PP/QM subject matter expert supporting manufacturing operations and strategic SAP initiatives.
  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and SAP configuration activities.
  • Facilitate business process workshops and drive adoption of SAP best practices.
  • Design scalable solutions aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Create functional specifications for custom enhancements and developments.
  • Execute testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Support production issues, enhancements, and ongoing system optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams, security teams, and external consultants.
  • Proactively identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support global SAP projects and cross-functional process improvements.
  • Develop process documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Deliver end-user and key-user training sessions.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering organizations.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to project resources and consulting partners when necessary.
