About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an SAP ADM Project Manager position for our client. This role involves leading Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) projects for SAP systems from initiation through successful delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope. Key duties include monitoring project schedules, managing risks and issues, overseeing quality assurance and testing, managing vendor relationships, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders. The role also ensures SAP solutions align with organizational goals and promotes project governance and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SAP Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) processes and SAP technologies.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and team coordination skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities across technical and business audiences.
  • Experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Ability to identify and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience managing external vendors and consulting partners.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, including leading SAP Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) initiatives.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in enterprise SAP environments.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP implementation, enhancement, support, and maintenance projects is highly preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) projects for SAP systems from project initiation through successful delivery.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of SAP developers, quality assurance personnel, business analysts, and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project objectives.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies while driving resolution strategies.
  • Oversee quality assurance, testing, and validation activities to ensure SAP solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party resources supporting SAP initiatives.
  • Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and executive communications to stakeholders.
  • Ensure SAP solutions align with organizational business goals, operational needs, and long-term technology strategies.
  • Promote project governance, process improvements, and adherence to established project management methodologies.
