About The Position

The Sanitizer cleans and sanitizes production equipment and surrounding work areas to support safe, thorough, and timely beverage production for brands including Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina. The role performs internal and/or external sanitation tasks using approved tools and chemical agents, follows food safety and workplace safety procedures, and documents assigned sanitation duties and checks. The role may also use industrial cleaning equipment, potentially including a floor scrubber or forklift, and support other production duties as assigned. The position is based in Aiea, Hawaii. Work days are Sunday through Thursday, with a stated start time of 22:00 and end time of 06:30. On-the-job training includes hands-on and classroom instruction. The workplace is fast-paced and hands-on, with movement and physical activity throughout most of the day.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry between 20 and 45 pounds over a long work period, with or without accommodation.
Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry containers weighing approximately 30–40 pounds, with or without accommodation.
Must be able to pull cleaning equipment and kneel, climb, crawl, bend, stand, and crouch while using cleaning equipment, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production equipment and surrounding work areas using approved tools and chemical agents.
Perform internal and/or external sanitation tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing, to support food safety and quality standards.
Follow safety and food safety standards, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling procedures.
Complete required paperwork and documentation to record sanitation duties, checks, and assigned tasks.
Use industrial cleaning equipment and may operate equipment such as a floor scrubber or forklift.
Support other production duties as assigned.
