About The Position

The Sanitation, Warehouse associate helps maintain a clean and safe workplace to support the health and safety of warehouse associates. The role performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse areas, including dry, cooler, and freezer spaces, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure the safety of all associates.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed by hazardous-material safety sheets.
• Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate a pallet jack as needed to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
