About The Position

As a Sanitation Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility to support food safety, employee safety, and operational excellence. Mennel Milling has been feeding the world since 1886 and is looking for passionate individuals in sanitation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Ability to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Performing sanitation and cleaning activities throughout the facility.
Ensuring designated production and non-production areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
Removing flour accumulation through blow-down and vacuuming procedures.
Cleaning and maintaining break rooms, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
Emptying trash and recycling containers.
Operating sanitation-related equipment and facility equipment such as pallet jacks and straight trucks.
Following all GMP, OSHA, HACCP, GFSI, FSMA, food safety, sanitation, and company safety requirements while maintaining an audit-ready facility.
