Requirements

Ability to observe details at close range.
Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.
Ability to quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required.
Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time.
Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner.
Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.
Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.
2 years in industrial cleaning desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, adhering to safety expectations including PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
Perform sanitation and cleaning of assigned areas following master cleaning schedules and procedures, which may include washing down, shoveling, de-junking, vacuuming, and sweeping.
Assist in formulating sanitation standards and work procedures, and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
Operate skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand/power tools.
Effectively communicate with team lead, supervisor, and customer to accomplish assigned tasks and develop sound customer relations.
Maintain adherence to the published work schedule and be available to work overtime as required.
Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc., utilizing fall protection equipment when required.
Maintain communication with supervisor regarding unresolved work issues, personnel issues, and employee complaints.
Work all shifts including holidays and weekends when demanded by the job.
Perform other work as defined by company and/or customer.
Clean process screens with a concentrated solution daily (CC- Caustic Cleaners).
Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals, including employee development planning.
Communicate with all team members to assist in the development of short- and long-range planning in assistance of the company’s goals.
Meet physical requirements of the job.
Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner.
Complete accurate and timely administrative duties, including time accounting and work order completion.
Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
