As an Assistant Miller, you'll play a key role in supporting flour mill operations, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and helping deliver products that meet customer expectations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test and perform job duties while wearing a respirator
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality

Nice To Haves

1 to 3 years of flour milling, food production, manufacturing, or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting with daily flour mill operations, flour transfers, and mill changes
Performing quality analysis, product sampling, and food safety checks
Supporting equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine repairs
Monitoring wheat cleaning and tempering processes and making adjustments as directed
Maintaining a clean, safe, and audit-ready work environment
Following all food safety, GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and sanitation requirements
Assisting with training Mill Utility personnel
Serving as backup for the Head Miller or Shift Miller when needed
