About The Position

Litehouse Foods is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Sanitation Technician I to help maintain cleanliness and food safety at its food manufacturing facility. The role supports sanitation across facility areas and production equipment, follows food safety requirements, and documents completed work. The position may require overtime and weekend work to support production demands. Applicants must be able to pass a background check. Litehouse does not offer sponsorship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to identify issues during equipment cleaning.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in multiple facility areas.
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment using chemicals and water systems.
• Inspect completed sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow food safety policies and report safety or quality concerns.
• Contribute to overall facility cleanliness and sanitation.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
