About The Position

As a Sanitation Tech, you are an essential team member responsible for sanitizing all equipment in the plant in compliance with customer specifications and with company policy and procedures related to proper sanitation, GMP and Safety requirements. You will be able to stay active as you sort and carry our soft-baked bars.

Requirements

  • Ability to stay active as you sort and carry our soft-baked bars.
  • Ability to use chemicals and power washers.
  • Ability to read chemical labels.
  • Ability to manually scrub certain areas of machines using brushes or scrub pads.
  • Ability to perform light cleaning of coolers; picking up garbage from floor and sweeping with dust mop.
  • Ability to clean floors using floor scrubber.
  • Ability to disassemble equipment.
  • Ability to pressure wash rugs.
  • Ability to occasionally clean overhead storage levels using man lift.
  • Ability to inspect equipment to assure sanitation requirements are met.
  • Ability to report all issues to supervisor.
  • Adherence to stated safety policies and procedures.
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.

Responsibilities

  • Report all issues to supervisor.
  • Perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
  • Produce and promote our products and services in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
