About The Position

The Sanitation Technician I follows procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to clean production equipment and support safety and hygiene. The role may involve recording sanitation activities and issues and updating the supervisor or manager on progress and non-routine issues. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a $1.50 shift differential.

Requirements

• Must be capable of working productively on a third-shift schedule.
• Able to communicate and take direction from the Sanitation Group Lead and/or Sanitation Supervisor.
• Regularly stand; occasionally sit, walk, stoop, or crouch, and ascend or descend stairs where required.
• Regularly lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally move up to 45–50 pounds with a hoist, pallet jack, or cart.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to clean and sanitize idle production equipment.
• Wet-wash rooms and production lines.
• Complete required reports documenting sanitation activities.
• Notify the supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
• Update the supervisor or manager on progress and non-routine issues.
