About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Sanitation Tec to perform a variety of cleaning duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace, contributing to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Requirements

0-1 year of experience in the Food Processing industry or another heavy industry field
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally employable in the United States, and project a professional appearance and attitude.
Safety awareness and attention to detail is mandatory.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be able to lift 15 lbs. to 50 lbs.
Be able to communicate with team members, company managers and customer staff
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual is a plus (English/Spanish)
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize equipment and workspace in a designated area of the plant.
Work cooperatively with leads and management to ensure all 7 steps of sanitation procedures are followed.
Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers, etc.
Wear employer-specified personal protective equipment (“PPE”) such as gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, safety glasses, etc.
Perform all tasks to comply with all safety regulations.
Use Lock-out tag-out (“LOTO”).
Other duties as assigned.
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
