We currently have an opportunity for a Production Sanitation Technician at our Manufacturing Plant in Huntersville , NC . DAY SHIFT HOURS (8 Hour Shift)

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience in sanitation maintenance.
• One (1) year of experience operating lift equipment including scissor-lifts and articulating boom lifts.
• One (1) year of experience operating forklifts.
• Comfortable working at all heights.
• Detail-orientated, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.
• Ability to complete tasks and forms.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness, housekeeping standards, and facility conditions throughout the plant to support a safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing environment.
• Performs scheduled sanitation maintenance, minor facility maintenance, equipment cleaning, material removal, ergonomic mat maintenance, and exterior facility upkeep.
• Works independently within established requirements, uses Company equipment safely and efficiently, and responds flexibly to non-routine cleaning and special projects as business needs arise.
• Conducts maintenance on a prescribed schedule of the main production/support areas including cleaning of building walls/ceilings, overhead pipes, and production equipment using approved provided tools and equipment such as scissor lifts.
• Removes and disposes of undesired packaging material, tape, and temporary repairs throughout the plant.
• Dusts and polishes production equipment.
• Maintains/Replaces ergonomic mats for production employees.
• Maintains the exterior of the facility with scheduled yard cleanings.
• Performs housekeeping duties and some facility maintenance duties including minor repairs throughout the plant.
• Accomplishes non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.
