The Sanitation Operator is responsible for inspecting, training, and following guidelines from the American Dairy Association, United States Department of Agriculture, American Institute of Baking, Food and Drug Administration, and company policies. The role involves sanitizing assigned equipment according to FDA and USDA regulations, quality specifications, and company policies. Day-to-day activities may include safely dispensing, titrating, and storing cleaning chemicals and protective gear, performing ATP testing and logging results, inspecting manufacturing lines and equipment for sanitation compliance, working safely around large processing equipment, using cleaning agents and power cleaning tools, assisting with transporting heavy objects, and completing required documentation. The position requires adherence to PPE and GMP guidelines, effective work in wet environments with temperature variations, and participation in safety and facility training.
