About The Position

Stratas Foods LLC is seeking a qualified Sanitation Operator for the 3rd shift. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility and equipment. The operator will be responsible for general housekeeping, sanitation duties, and ensuring compliance with all safety and food safety regulations. This position offers the opportunity to learn various roles within the plant and contribute to efficiency and safety improvement teams.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or commercial cleaning.
Basic computer knowledge for data entry.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

Perform general housekeeping, sanitation, and clean-up duties.
Sweep, vacuum, paint, and lubricate equipment.
Retrieve samples and perform power washing.
Lift and haul items, including up and down stairs.
Dump rework and prepare packaging.
Operate a motorized forklift.
Package product.
Perform proper tear down, cleaning, and reassembling of pumps, sanitary lines, and line equipment.
Operate CIP skids and clean line components.
Handle chemicals safely, using required PPE.
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual MSS items.
Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention.
Report and resolve any observed quality issues while cleaning equipment.
Successfully pass qualification tests for Operator 3 responsibilities.
Participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams.
Learn and follow written rules and procedures.
Produce accurate documentation.
Maintain acceptable attendance.
Fill in for temporary/permanent vacancies as needed.
Adhere to and comply with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations, and policies.
