About The Position

This position manages supply chain processes and ensures merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers by directing resolutions and responding to the escalation of daily issues. The role involves analyzing data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies, providing data for the supplier compliance process flow, and researching/analyzing the root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns. The Sanitation Manager also conducts performance reviews of sanitation associates, provides recommendations for corrective actions, and cleans warehouse ceilings, racks, and walls in all chambers, including freezers. This role supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs by identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities. It requires adaptability and the promotion of continuous learning, along with providing supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition. The position influences field-level direction and provides guidance for the execution of operations by acting as a liaison for the field, addressing performance-related issues, identifying best practices, and advising teams on adoption and implementation. Collaboration with business partners is key to identifying and developing resources and improving efficiencies. The role manages supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working through continuous improvement recommendations to leadership. Key responsibilities include prioritizing sanitation objectives, ensuring flow plans are achievable, promoting innovation, managing the correction of errors, and identifying areas of opportunity to improve service levels. The position supports the use of end-to-end costing methodologies and lean concepts, provides cost recommendations, and reviews/analyzes the impact and benefits to internal processes. Coordination and alignment of planning with organizational initiatives and directions are essential, along with setting realistic timelines and improving work processes to increase performance. The manager plans and manages team member time based on business priorities, ensuring work requirements are completed accurately and timely. Identifying and obtaining necessary resources, applying policies and procedures, and using data to make informed decisions are crucial. The role involves reviewing customer-focused data, adjusting performance, and promoting associate efforts to exceed customer expectations. Finally, the position ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and promotes a culture of belonging.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in warehouse or manufacturing plant sanitation.
  • 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
