The role involves analyzing data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies, providing data for the supplier compliance process flow, and researching/analyzing the root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns. The Sanitation Manager conducts performance reviews of sanitation associates, provides recommendations for corrective actions, and cleans warehouse ceilings, racks, and walls in all chambers, including freezers. This role supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and communicates goals and objectives, builds accountability, and measures progress. It also involves identifying and addressing improvement opportunities, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning. The manager provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition. They act as a liaison for the field, influencing field-level direction and providing guidance for the execution of operations, and are responsible for addressing performance-related issues. The role identifies best practices and advises teams on adoption and implementation, collaborates with business partners to identify and develop resources, and improves efficiencies. They manage supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working through continuous improvement recommendations to leadership. The manager prioritizes sanitation objectives, ensures flow plans are achievable, and promotes innovation to simplify current solutions and methodologies. They manage the correction of errors, processes, and feedback loops, identify areas of opportunity to improve service levels, and support the use of end-to-end costing methodologies and lean concepts. The role provides cost recommendations to reduce process waste and opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies, reviews and analyzes the impact and benefits to internal processes, and coordinates and aligns planning with organizational initiatives and directions. They review work plans and make changes as needed to achieve team or work group objectives, set realistic timelines for goal accomplishment, and improve work processes and practices to increase performance and results. The manager holds associates accountable for completing work within expectations and time requirements, plans and manages team member time based on business priorities, and follows up to ensure all work requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner. They identify and obtain the resources needed to complete projects, review and apply policies and procedures to make informed judgments, and use data and evidence to determine the causes of problems and develop solutions. The role reviews customer/member-focused data and adjusts performance to address findings, promotes and supports associate efforts to exceed customer/member expectations, and coaches associates to identify and locate resources and meet the needs of customers/members. They coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. The manager provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
