About The Position

Oats Overnight is hiring a Sanitation Manager to lead sanitation at its Ohio plant. The role oversees the sanitation team, schedule, procedures, audit records, and cleaning verification. As the plant adds production lines, the manager will also develop sanitation plans for new equipment before installation and validate and sign off on sanitation readiness before new lines or products run. The Sanitation Manager supervises two supervisors and their crews across three shifts, develops SSOPs with QA, Operations, and Maintenance, and coordinates a master sanitation schedule covering the facility, production lines, and grounds. The role participates on the plant HACCP team, manages non-conformances through corrective action, and may stop production or place product on hold when conditions require it. The manager also supports SQF, regulatory, and customer audits; monitors ATP and allergen swab data; manages sanitation vendors and chemical, supply, and labor spend; and maintains safe chemical handling and lockout/tagout practices. The position is based inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment. It involves exposure to food ingredients and allergens and occasional lifting of 15–25 pounds. Oats Overnight describes its culture as casual, friendly, high-growth, and fast-paced, with high expectations and an emphasis on ownership, rational decision-making, continuous improvement, and curiosity.
