About The Position

The Sanitation Manager will manage supply chain processes, ensuring merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers. This role involves directing resolutions, responding to escalations, and analyzing data to improve network efficiencies. The manager will also be responsible for analyzing data from multiple stakeholders, providing data for the supplier compliance process, and researching the root cause of exceptions in shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns. Additionally, the role includes conducting performance reviews of sanitation associates, providing recommendations for corrective actions, and cleaning warehouse ceilings, racks, and walls in all chambers, including freezers. The manager will support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identify and communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, and address improvement opportunities. This position requires adaptability, promotion of continuous learning, and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition. The role acts as a liaison for the field, influencing direction and guiding operational execution, while addressing performance-related issues and identifying best practices for adoption and implementation. Collaboration with business partners to identify and develop resources and improve efficiencies is key. The manager will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working through continuous improvement recommendations to leadership, prioritizing sanitation objectives, and ensuring flow plans are achievable. Innovation to simplify solutions and methodologies, managing error correction processes, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels are also part of the role. Support for end-to-end costing methodologies and lean concepts, providing cost reduction recommendations, and reviewing the impact of changes on internal processes are expected. The manager will coordinate and align planning with organizational initiatives, adjust work plans as needed, set realistic timelines, and improve work processes to increase performance. Holding associates accountable for timely and accurate work completion, planning and managing team member time based on business priorities, and identifying and obtaining necessary resources for projects are crucial. The role involves reviewing and applying policies and procedures, using facts and expertise for decision-making, and using data to solve problems. Customer-focused data will be reviewed to adjust performance, and associates will be coached to meet customer needs. Job-related activities will be coordinated and overseen by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting initiatives, communicating goals, building accountability, identifying improvements, and promoting continuous learning. Supervision and development of associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a sense of belonging, are essential. Compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the company mission, values, and ethics, and implementing action plans are required. The manager will utilize and support the Open Door Policy and provide guidance on applying policies in business processes.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in warehouse or manufacturing plant sanitation.
  • 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
