About The Position

This role involves performing cleaning on production equipment according to established procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety, hygiene, and food safety. The position requires recording sanitation activities and issues, and advising the supervisor/manager of progress and any non-routine issues. The role is for the 3rd shift, with hours from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, and weekend work may be required.

Requirements

• Must be capable of being productive on third-shift scheduling.
• Some facilities may require ascending or descending stairs.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in basic English.
• At least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.
• Must have some Microsoft Office skills.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with refractometers a plus.
• Supervisory skills are desired.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures in the cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment.
• Completes required reporting to reflect activity.
• Advises supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
• Performs cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety, hygiene, and food safety.
• Records information to reflect sanitation activities and issues.
• Advises/updates supervisor/manager of progress and or other non-routine issues.
