This role follows procedures and SOPs to perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety, hygiene, and food safety. The position may involve recording information to reflect sanitation activities and issues, and advising/updating the supervisor/manager of progress and any non-routine issues. The position requires productivity on third-shift scheduling and may involve ascending or descending stairs in multi-level facilities. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment can be expansive, noisy, wet/humid, and vary in temperature from refrigerated to ambient or warm.
