About The Position
Transports and operates heavy equipment to install water and sanitation facilities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or six (6) months related experience.
- An additional two (2) years of experience is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
- Must be able to operate tribal or GSA vehicle to and from job sites.
- Must have knowledge of heavy equipment operation, water and wastewater construction materials and techniques, and be familiar with the use of a transit and laser level.
- Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
Nice To Haves
- Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality Class D water and wastewater operators license preferred.
