About The Position
Morena Provisions is a neighborhood café that offers a weekly chef-curated menu featuring fresh, seasonal salads, sandwiches, entrées, smoothies, and grab-and-go favorites made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Beyond the kitchen, it features a wine shop and gourmet pantry items. As part of the Urban Kitchen Group family, Morena Provisions is driven by a shared passion for hospitality, exceptional food, and creating meaningful experiences for every guest. This role is for an All-Rounder Team Member (FOH + BOH) - Gourmet Sandwich + Salad Maker.
Requirements
- Ability to switch gears easily between food prep and customer service
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work the required Monday through Saturday shift
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude
- Previous restaurant, deli, or retail experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients
- Assemble high-quality sandwiches and salads
- Maintain a clean kitchen by handling dishwashing duties
- Greet guests warmly
- Take orders accurately using our TOAST POS system
- Provide excellent customer service
- Keep both the dining area and kitchen organized, stocked, and clean throughout the day
