About The Position

CC Holdings is hiring friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Sandwich Artists/Cashiers/Customer Service Representatives for Nature’s Table Civic Plaza at the Indianapolis International Airport. The role involves assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls according to recipes and Nature’s Table standards, and preparing orders promptly, consistently, and sanitarily. Employees maintain and stock their stations and follow food-safety requirements. Cashier duties include processing cash, debit, and credit-card transactions using a point-of-sale system, balancing the cash drawer, making change, and entering purchases. Strong customer-service skills are required. Shifts are available seven days a week between 5:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.; shift times vary. A valid driver’s license is required to receive a parking pass. The starting rate is up to $17.00 per hour, plus tips. Requirements

Valid driver’s license required to receive a parking pass.
Knowledge of food-service methods and procedures, sanitation principles, and safe food handling.
Effective communication skills, including strong listening skills.

Nice To Haves

Prior sandwich artist, cashier, or customer service representative experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Arrive in proper uniform and adhere to grooming standards.
Set up the station according to café guidelines.
Prepare food items as directed, in a sanitary and timely manner.
Follow portion-control and presentation specifications.
Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
Clean and maintain the station using safe, sanitary, and organized practices.
Use and maintain station equipment properly.
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Ensure food quality and safety through required sanitation, cleaning, covering, and storage procedures.
Work at an efficient and consistent pace.
Follow cash-handling procedures.
Record orders accurately, receive and give change, and count the cash drawer.
Thank customers and invite them to return.
Serve as a role model to customers and staff and help provide on-the-job training to new baristas or cashiers.
Work with the team to support operations, standards, and the concept.
Use effective communication and listening skills.
Assist with other tasks when asked.
Suggestively sell and inform customers about products, promotions, and other services.
Assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls according to recipes and standards.
Process cash, debit, and credit-card transactions using a point-of-sale system.
