Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English to communicate effectively with members, guests, and fellow team members.
  • 3–5 years of upscale dining or hospitality service experience required.
  • At least one year of leadership, supervisory, or training experience preferred.
  • Previous experience using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Assist with food service, beverage preparation, stocking, clearing tables, and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with members, guests, and team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Luxury resort, country club, or fine dining experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of café and coffee shop operations.
  • Knowledge of specialty coffee beverages, café menu offerings, food safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the café team to provide exceptional luxury service.
  • Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth, efficient service from opening through closing.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings covering specials, menu updates, service expectations, and team assignments.
  • Ensure all dining areas, coffee stations, grab-and-go displays, and service areas are clean, stocked, and guest-ready.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards throughout each shift.
  • Support team members during busy periods by assisting with guest service, beverage preparation, food running, stocking, and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Train, mentor, and develop new and existing team members while providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, communicate product shortages, and help maintain proper café supplies.
  • Assist with scheduling, labor efficiency, and daily staffing adjustments based on business needs.
  • Verify completion of opening, running, and closing checklists while ensuring the café is prepared for the next day.
  • Document operational concerns, maintenance issues, guest feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with the Food & Beverage leadership team to achieve operational, financial, and guest satisfaction goals.
