About The Position
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hard-working employee who can interview immediately for a Sandblast/Prep/Painter position in the Northwest Houston area. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of converting to direct hire. The role involves preparing and finishing industrial equipment for painting and production.
Requirements
- Previous sandblasting experience must be clearly listed on resume
- Previous experience working with two-part epoxy paint must be clearly listed on resume
- Reliable and dependable with a strong attendance record
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prepare surfaces using sandblasting, hand sanding, grinding, and other preparation methods
- Experience applying primer and paint according to specifications
- Ability or willingness to operate an overhead crane
- Willingness to complete hands-on training during the first 2–3 weeks
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working overtime and Saturdays as required
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Immediate availability to interview and start once compliance is completed
- All interviews will be conducted in person

- Taping
- Operating pneumatic tools
- Move materials and equipment using an overhead crane
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Cross-train and support other production areas as needed
- Assist with general plant housekeeping
- Follow all company safety and environmental procedures and use required PPE
