Requirements

  • Proven experience in aggregate production or a related industry preferred.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities, with a passion for coaching and developing others.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Drive and flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions, including travel, overtime, nights, weekends, and varying weather.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and Fit for Work physical (may include medical card for driving).
  • Valid documentation for I-9 verification.
  • Minimum age of 18 due to work environment requirements.
  • Readiness to wear PPE and always follow OSHA/MSHA protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee safe, efficient, and productive operations of our sand plant site, setting the standard for operational excellence.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team—recruiting top staff, assigning roles, and fostering a positive work environment built on trust and continuous learning.
  • Drive results by analyzing operational data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing cost-saving, efficiency-boosting initiatives.
  • Champion safety by collaborating with the Safety Department, identifying and correcting hazards, and ensuring full compliance with all company and regulatory policies.
  • Maintain plant assets, oversee site rehabilitation and beautification projects, and ensure facilities are in prime condition.
  • Strategically plan and direct mine and pit operations, optimizing site performance while maintaining environmental stewardship.
  • Manage budgets, approve time records, and ensure all required personnel and resources are in place for current and future needs.
