Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Operations Associate performs a range of administrative and operational duties to support the retail business needs. The duties include day-to-day administration of back-of-house (BOH) retail operations, i.e. product shipping, managing records, merchandising, and general store support.

Requirements

  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
  • Relevant experience in retail operations administration
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail, and/or multi-unit operations
  • Good organization and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter
  • Some experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Assist with with a variety of administrative tasks such as store audits, and supplying ordering such as uniforms and business cards
  • Innovating, refining & maintaining an efficient inventory control system
  • Optimizing inventory visibility and maximizing inventory turnover
  • Analyze inventory reports and make recommendations for improvements
  • Plan and execute inventory counts and create clear execution plans with follow-up as needed
  • Manage Live Demo Units and Fixed Assets for the store
  • Be proficient in all technology and systems at the store
  • Execution of shipping, receiving and general production
  • Work closely with the reverse logistics team to facilitate product replacements and trade-ins
  • Effectively implements planograms in order to optimize the store’s promotion and sales of wireless devices, tablets, accessories, home theatre systems, appliances, and services
  • Maintain integrity of the Samsung Brand at all levels
  • Lead compliance with all company policies and procedures including loss prevention and inventory management protocols
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Operation Leadership team and General Manager/Store Manager
  • Manage store build deficiencies through Service National
