About The Position
The Sample Laboratory Technician performs a variety of laboratory functions, including compounding flavors, making solutions, sampling, and packaging and shipping flavors and finished products. The role also supports raw-material and finished-flavor inventory, lab maintenance, and collaboration with other departments on requests and shipments. The position requires adherence to Sample Lab GMPs, SOPs, safety procedures, and Robertet and SQF quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic math skills.
- Hazmat certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of laboratory experience.
- Oracle experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform the duties and responsibilities of the Laboratory Assistant.
- Precisely compound flavors.
- Package and ship Hazmat and non-regulated flavors and finished products.
- Confirm the integrity of raw materials before use.
- Perform organoleptic and visual tests of finished flavors before use.
- Collaborate with Sales Service, Regulatory, R&D Labs, and Production regarding requests and shipments.
- Perform general laboratory maintenance daily.
- Maintain raw-material and finished-flavor inventory, including data entry, breakdown, and stocking.
- Adhere to Sample Lab GMPs, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Support Robertet and SQF quality standards and continuous improvement of quality management systems.
