About The Position

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Sample Lab Supervisor to support its growing Natural Color Conversion business. The role supervises the sample technician team and helps ensure customer product samples are processed and shipped on time. It also coordinates sample-room inventory, organizes special marketing projects, analyzes sample-room metrics, supports operational documentation and procedures, enforces safety and GMP standards, and assists with customer inquiries. The position is onsite five days per week.

Requirements

At least 2 years of prior supervisory experience.
Ability to prioritize and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work efficiently and amicably on multiple projects simultaneously.
Authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, monitor, and support sample technicians to ensure samples are processed and shipped on time.
Enter sample requests into the inventory system as sales orders, locate material, and print Certificates of Analysis (CofAs).
Assign work instructions to personnel based on communications from management.
Coordinate bulk inventory, including ordering material from onsite production or inventory, requesting materials from affiliates, and performing inventory cycle counts.
Organize special marketing projects.
Compile monthly reports to analyze sample-room metrics.
Assist in creating documents and procedures to improve operational efficiency and standardization.
Enforce safety and GMP standards, identify hazards, and take appropriate action to control them.
Assist with investigating and promptly resolving customer inquiries.
