About The Position

The Sample Coordinator is responsible for maintaining sample inventory, picking, packing, and shipping sample orders. This role also involves working on tradeshows, special mailings, and supporting the sample team to reach goals. This position is part of the PRIME division, operating under the S&S Activewear parent company, which plays a key role in delivering specialized solutions while aligning with the broader mission and values of S&S Activewear.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Ability to follow direction.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to change, positive attitude, willingness to learn and grow.
  • Basic math skills; ability to count, add, and subtract quickly and accurately.
  • Keyboarding skills – accuracy is important.
  • PC knowledge: MS Office, Teams, Made4Net, Tech Ship, Net Suite.
  • Ability to adjust and learn.
  • Ability to operate a pallet mover.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and work with a team.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
  • FedEx, UPS, USPS, Hazmat, and international shipping experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain sample inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and ship sample orders.
  • Work on tradeshows and special mailings.
  • Support the sample team to reach goals.
  • Work with MS Office, Net Suite, and Made4Net, Tech Ship to complete tasks.
  • Follow instructions associated with sample orders such as ship dates, special requests, and compliances like Hazardous materials.
  • Confirm the quality, imprint, and packaging of product upon arrival and prior to shipping.
  • Prepare kits for mailings and shows.
  • Choose the appropriate packing for shipments.
  • Ship domestic, international, and hazardous materials through Tech Ship, UPS, FedEx, USPS, and others as necessary.
  • Prepare skids for shipment.
  • Answer inquiries regarding product, order status, tracking information, sample policy, events, and shows.
  • Troubleshoot issues and customer complaints as they arise and work to resolve them.
  • Communicate issues with inventory, packing, shipping, mailings, and shows.
  • Maintain adequate inventory, packing, and shipping materials.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
