About The Position

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is seeking a Sample Control Technician in Stafford, Texas. The role assists with shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and logging samples. It also serves as a backup driver as needed. This is a full-time position scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with possible overtime. Compensation is up to $20 per hour.

Requirements

Clean driving record.
High school diploma or GED.
Customer-service orientation.
Good oral and written English skills, including professional working proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to move around, stand for long periods, sit for long periods, squat, and lift containers weighing up to 50 pounds.
Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist with shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and logging samples.
Prepare samples for processing.
Accept and sign for deliveries.
Assist in unloading shipments from delivery trucks.
Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from the loading dock and around the Sample Receiving area.
Open coolers and inspect shipment contents.
Check documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for.
Distribute samples to the appropriate departments.
Follow safety and quality control procedures.
Store, restock, and shelve samples as necessary.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Enter records in the LIMS system.
Serve as a backup driver as needed.
