About The Position

The Sample and Studio Assistant supports the Sample Manager by organizing, packing, sorting, and preparing product samples for photo shoots and cross-functional projects. The role also provides hands-on support for studio operations, including steaming products, maintaining and organizing the styling closet, and assisting with studio projects and day-to-day needs. The position suits an organized, proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable team player who can help keep a high-volume, fast-paced fashion e-commerce studio running smoothly. This is a full-time, hourly, in-office role based in Downtown Los Angeles, with standard work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role includes weekly unboxing, shipping, and tracking of products, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and keep up with the physical demands of the work.

Requirements

One year of experience in a related position.
Working experience with Excel and Google Sheets.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work positively and collaboratively across teams and projects.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical demands of weekly product unboxing, shipping, and tracking.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Shopify and NetSuite.

Responsibilities

Support the Sample Manager with projects related to the flow of samples in and out of the LA Studio.
Receive, unpack, organize, quality-check, and check in incoming TOP samples.
Tag and organize products according to the merchandise document and debut dates.
Pull and prepare products for still-life and social shoots.
Reset and reorganize racks after still-life shoots to prepare for upcoming shoots.
Pull and pack products for content creators and other internal requests.
Organize, box, and prepare products for shipment to the Outlet.
Maintain sample-room and rack organization throughout the week.
Support vendor communication by email.
Review samples for fit, quality, and color; document and communicate discrepancies to relevant teams.
Log samples in merchandise sample documents to help maintain the shot list.
Work cross-functionally with buyers, marketing, and the influencer team, as well as the studio team.
Support the Photo Studio team with steaming, organizing, and other assigned tasks.
Help the stylist maintain the styling closet, check inventory, and pack for weekly location photo shoots.
Assist studio leadership with Photo Studio upkeep and photo shoot operations.
