About The Position

Plante Moran is seeking a SALT Staff member to join their team. This role involves participation in client engagements from beginning to completion, including planning, executing, and completing tax projects. The position requires preparation and/or review of returns for partnership, individual, and S Corporation clients, as well as tax research, consultation, and preparation of client memorandums. You will also be responsible for developing client-focused tax planning and transaction structuring concepts, and participating in client relationship building, including networking and business development activities. Optional participation in campus recruiting, internal learning and development committees, and other firm leadership objectives is also part of the role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
1+ years recent experience in public accounting
CPA or Bar License
Strong technical skills specifically with public accounting with a focus in taxes for private equity companies, partnerships, and/or LLCs
This position may require some local and national travel (note: currently no firm travel)
This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
