About The Position

SALT Staff will participate in client engagements from beginning to completion, including planning, executing, and completing tax projects. This role involves the preparation and/or review of returns for partnership, individual, and S Corporation clients. Responsibilities also include tax research, consultation, and the preparation of client memorandums. The position requires the development of client-focused tax planning and transaction structuring concepts, as well as participation in client relationship building, including involvement in networking and business development activities. There are optional opportunities to participate in campus recruiting activities, internal learning and development committees, and other firm leadership objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 1+ years recent experience in public accounting
  • CPA or Bar License
  • Strong technical skills specifically with public accounting with a focus in taxes for private equity companies, partnerships, and/or LLCs
  • This position may require some local and national travel (note: currently no firm travel)
  • This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English.
