About The Position

We're on the lookout for a friendly, organized receptionist to be the first smile clients see at our buzzing SmartStyle salon! This part-time role is perfect for anyone looking for flexible hours in a fun, fast-paced environment, and it's an especially great fit for cosmetology and barber students who are getting close to graduation. No salon experience needed. We'll train you!

Beauty School Students: Get Your Foot in the Door!
Working our front desk is the perfect way to start your career before you're licensed. You'll learn how a busy salon runs, get to know our clients and stylists, and see what makes a great stylist successful. When you graduate and earn your license, you'll get priority consideration for a stylist position with us. Your clients will already know your face, and you'll be ready to hit the ground running!

Requirements

• Friendly Face: Greet clients with a big smile and a professional touch.
• Reliability: Show up on time and ready to go.
• Team Spirit: Work well with others and lead by being awesome.
• Tech Comfort: Basic computer and phone skills. We'll teach you our booking system.
• Passion: A love for everything hair is a big plus!

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and check them in for their appointments.
• Answer phones, book appointments, and manage the schedule.
• Process payments and help clients find the right products.
• Help manage salon inventory.
• Build relationships with busy Walmart foot traffic.
• Keep the front desk and waiting area clean and welcoming.
