About The Position

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Kennesaw is looking for a Part-Time Salon Assistant/Receptionist to join our team! We are especially looking for someone with strong weekend availability, including Saturdays and Sundays. Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is an upscale children’s salon with 100+ locations nationwide and was voted the #1 kids salon franchise! We create a fun, exciting experience for every child and family who walks through our doors.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and high energy
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Weekend availability REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• Salon experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with friendly, exceptional service
• Front desk & POS operations
• Checking clients in and out
• Assisting with retail sales
• Keeping the salon clean and organized
• Stocking retail shelves
• Assisting stylists with shampoos, temporary tattoos, and mini-cures
• Cleaning between appointments
